Sample Processer Lead

Great opportunity to gain supervisory experience working for a clinical diagnostic company in Fremont, CA. The work that will be done will provide pivotal information to cancer patients during clinical trials. Work in a GLP/GDP environment.

Responsibilities:

• Receiving, identifying, assigning accession numbers, sorting, and preparing whole blood for internal testing
• Project management- help implement processes for sample intake and sample management
• Create inventory process for incoming samples
• Routinely performs lab experiments in compliance to SOPs
• Performs inventories of laboratory samples
• Leads sample technician and provides assistance as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related sciences, or Associate Degree and equivalent experience
• 2-4 years experience working in a laboratory
• Process improvement skills and project organization
• Good record keeping skills and attention to detail

Preferred:

• Experience working in GLP or CLIA certified environment a plus
• Team lead experience

Shift:

• Tuesday-Saturday, 7am-3:30pm

Pay:

• 35/hr
