PURPOSE OF POSITION:

To manage, analyze, and control Fryer Production functions in a manner conducive to promoting a consistent high quality product at the least cost on company and/or contract ranches through achieving company goals and objectives while maintaining quality standards of production.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for all fryer performance, quality, and production costs on ranches and insure that, through a well trained staff of Field Supervisors, will meet requirements of the annual production schedule.

Implementing and controlling field compliance with grow out, disease prevention, and quality programs.

Coordinating with and informing technical, personnel, administrative, service, and other managers of any information that could affect their decisions or influence bird performance.

Assist in the development and submission of proposals, budgets, and projections for fryer and production facilities and activities.

Maintain an efficient brooder crew that operates efficiently and safely. Includes maintaining promotable people on brooder crew with interest in advancement.

Manage maintenance of fryer ranch facilities, equipment, and landscaping. Includes vehicular, industrial safety, and maintenance awareness programs.

Maintain good inter-company and community relations.

Maintain good employer/employee relations within area of responsibility.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for an annual production cost budget of $60,000,000.
