Temporary (90 day minimum) to direct hire full-time office sales professional. This position will be filled as soon as a qualified candidate is found. This is a pool and spa chemical manufacturing and sales company. Candidate should feel comfortable soliciting over the phone and possess the ability to verbally communicate well with others. Candidate is to be the liaison between the Companys outside sales manufacturer reps and be able to provide reports and assistance as required. Some sales experience is desirable, as well as basic computer skills. Should the candidate be transitioned to a direct employee, the company offers health insurance, 401K, commissions, and the starting wage up to 22.00 an hour. The temporary status compensation will be $18.00 to $22.00 per hour to start.

The direct employment position is a consumer technical support and sales professional involving light travel throughout the San Joaquin Valley. This also includes attendance of trade shows for the purpose of new business development. This position includes the opportunity for upward mobility and could be a career versus just a job. Level of performance competence and product knowledge will determine amount of travel. Commission from 5 to 10% will be assigned, depending upon competence. Once the candidate has become an employee of the company, they will be expected to do inside and outside sales projects.
- Manage customer service desk including receiving incoming telephone calls, answering questions from manufacturing reps and supporting outside sales team
- Enter data/sales orders from incoming calls and outside sales team
- Update and track records in spreadsheets, maintaining accurate data ongoing for projects
- Contact existing customer base offering support and samples of new products as they become available
- Assist sales team and other department with general clerical needs including, typing, filing, making copies, sending emails
- Perform other assignments and special projects as directed by sales team and department managers

REQUIREMENTS
- Strong communication skills in both written and spoken word
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Ability to analyzing information and problem solve
- Ability to prioritize task and complete in timely manner
- Ability to successfully multi-task
- Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office
- Ability to be self-starter and manage workload without supervision
