Job Summary:
The Human Resources Generalist administers the various HR plans, policies, and procedures for the company. As the subject matter expert, the Generalist serves as an advocate for employees and is responsible for process outcomes and improvements.
Responsibilities (Specific tasks, duties, essential functions of the job)
Human Resources Generalist I
* Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures including the employee handbook, internal procedures.
* Support HR projects as required to ensure that HR policies and procedures are developed continuously to meet overall business requirements
* Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
* Develop, deliver and maintain company onboarding program for all sites.
* Performance evaluation process review and maintenance including forms creation, implementation, tracking, and review of final employee performance reviews
* Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, COBRA and communicating benefit information to employees.
* Maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 report annually; maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
* Creation of reports and HR analytics as needed, including demographics, metrics comparisons, etc.
* Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
* Maintains compliance with federal and state and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
* Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
* Comply with all company policies and procedures.
* Assist with any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Experience and Education)
Level I
HR Generalist I
* Bachelors' degree in business with an emphasis in Human Resources, Organization Behavior, Industrial Psychology, or related field, required.
* 1-3 years of Human Resources experience in a corporate and/or manufacturing operations environment, required.
* Advanced knowledge/proficiency in Microsoft Office, Applicant Tracking System (ATS), HRIS, required.
* Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification, preferred.
* A combination of training, education and experience that is equivalent to the qualifications listed above and that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
