Description:

Toyon Research Corporation is seeking a Human Resources Representative to work in our fast paced, dynamic Goleta company headquarters. The HR Representative will participate in various human resources activities, exercising independent judgment and discretion in interpreting and applying basic HR principles and concepts, while handling highly sensitive and confidential material. This position involves heavy recruiting, including advertising, sourcing, campus recruiting, applicant tracking, interview scheduling, and reference checks.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

· Demonstrated aptitude in recruiting, onboarding, compliance, employee relations, compensation, and benefits

· Thorough knowledge of state and federal employment law

· Ability to identify and handle priority and/or sensitive issues with discretion and a commitment to confidentiality

· Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point)

· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, written and oral

· An acute attention to detail

· Ability to work under minimal supervision, and exercise initiative and independent judgment while managing multiple and

simultaneous priorities

. Requirements:

Education, Qualifications, & Experience:

· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business or Public Administration, English,

Communications, or related field

· Minimum of 3 years professional HR experience

· PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification preferred

· Technical recruiting experience highly desirable

· HRIS/ATS experience desirable

· Government contractor experience a plus

U.S. Citizenship Required. Ability to qualify for a US Department of Defense security clearance required.
