• GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE

• Position supports sales financial analysis for the Dole Value Added Salads business unit and reports to the Director of Finance for Sales and Marketing. The position plays a critical role in the VA sales budgeting process, monthly close and sales reporting, and in developing customer proformas in partnership with the sales team.

• MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION
• Produce segment and customer volume and revenue reporting and variance analyses for monthly close and corporate requests
• Compile transactional detail for revenue accounts and explain results as compared to forecasts and budget
• Prepare weekly cash forecasts and monthly working capital forecasts
• Prepare forecasts of contra revenue and marketing/innovation expenses
• Support the VA volume and revenue budget process and lead training sessions of the current budget model for sales
• Develop and analyze annual budgets for marketing/innovation business units and contra revenue accounts
• Prepare audit schedules for both internal and external auditors
• Assist in the development of financial proformas for new and renewing sales contracts
• Perform ad hoc reporting and analyses as requested by department executives

· Implement new department processes and strive for continuous improvement

• JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skill And Experience Requirements)
• 4-7 years of financial analysis experience with sales finance and CPG experience desirable
• Strong organizational skills
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Proficient MS Software skills (Outlook, Powerpoint, Word)
• IBM Planning Analytics Workspace/TM1 experience desirable
• Familiarity with JD Edwards software desirable
• Experience with Power BI desirable
• Strong data analytical skills with the ability to provide creative solutions.
• Initiative to resolve and research problems
• Strong attention to detail and a desire to assume new responsibilities
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn

· EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

B.A. in Accounting or Finance required

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift (including overhead) and/or up to 15 lbs.

• WORK HOUR REQUIREMENT

Ability to work overtime, weekends if necessary to meet financial reporting deadlines.
