Our International Medical Device client is looking for a talented energetic technical ERP Project Manager for a 12 months to 18 month consulting engagement. Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, the Project Manager is responsible for the execution of the ERP implementation project and for ensuring the business needs, company requirements, and project deliverables are met through managing and coordinating with the appropriate business stakeholders in a global (Europe) build to stock manufacturing environment with 3rd party (logistics and distribution) integrations and nearshore manufacturing (Mexico).
This position leads and directs project assignments of high risk and complexity. You would provide technical expertise and team leadership on major ERP implementation project and will work closely with business owners across all company departments in the development of the ERP project roadmap and upgrade strategies. You will routinely interface with internal IT members and department stakeholders as well as provide direction to external vendor partners.

SKILLS/ COMPETENCIES NEEDED:
- 10+ years of progressive IT Project Management experience with demonstrated leadership skills in ERP implementation experience using IFS or a similar ERP solution with successful implementation on multiple ERP projects with at least $1M in total spend.
- Experience implementing complex projects across multiple geographically dispersed business units.
- Proven project and program management experience, attention to detail, analytical skills, the ability to plan, act strategically and execute operationally.
- Technical expertise in ERP deployments that are focused on meeting critical business requirements and capabilities. This includes leveraging existing capabilities as well as managing change effectively across a multi-site company.
- Must be decisive, agile, and willing to adjust course if business conditions change.
- Solid communication skills with the ability to clearly and positively communicate with individuals and groups, from technical teams to executive level management, both verbally and in written communications.
- Must work well with ambiguity, be a problem solver and be able to work in an environment where processes are still being developed. Ensure proper documentation and training will be used to deliver critical services to the organization.
- An action oriented, self-sufficient and a capable leader that is effective in a team-oriented environment where collaboration among the operating units is critical to the success of the company.
- Must be able to communicate issues and solutions effectively and clearly.
- Ability to act independently as well as work collaboratively to prioritize, set and meet goals.
- Excellent analytical skills, with a detailed understanding of the budgetary and financial processes with a focus on the implications of all investment decisions.
- Experience with quality frameworks such as Lean, Six Sigma, ISO, etc.
- Experience with compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPPA, GMP/FDA, etc.
- Medical device industry experience is preferred.
- Prefer BS in Information Management Systems or similar technical foundation.
- PMP certification preferred or appropriate technical project management certifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Primary ERP Project Manager and overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of the ERP implementation project. This includes defining the controls that govern the program life cycle focusing on the cost, key technical components, risk management and the schedule.
- Estimate, plan, schedule, organize, coordinate, and project manage activities for the ERP implementation project
- Maintain overall project plan, budget, schedule and staffing resources for the ERP project implementation, managing the relationship with the ERP implementation partner as well as the internal resources that support the project to assure that the software and services are delivered. Provide reports/dashboards and ensuring that budgets/plans are accurate and up to date.
- Provide the tools and standards for managing the project that includes planning, tracking, and reporting on outputs and outcomes. This includes the financial planning and tracking, resource management, and schedule reporting via management dashboards that clearly communicate the critical success factors to all stakeholders to ensure the project is on time and on budget.
- Work in a collaborative manner with the key stakeholders to ensure their support and buy-in for executing the implementation plan.
- Work closely with the ERP Business Analyst and the IT Applications Manager to coordinate key deliverables.
- Perform risk assessments, create and execute risk management plans that mitigate risks and maximize the success of each project.
- Support the development of the Master Data Model to successfully convert from current ERP (IQMS) to IFS.
