Job description
Do you consider yourself a "notch above" the typical laboratory technician? Have you been hoping to come across an opportunity to work with a team who trusts your judgment and is awed by your exceptional expertise in PCR workflow and LIMS management?
Perhaps all you want is an opportunity for professional growth, but it seems like your application gets lost in the sea of candidates. You'd like to be at the core of a high-powered team influencing the future of a company.
Nexsun Diagnostic Laboratories, LLC is seeking a capable laboratory technician who will help provide fast, affordable, and accurate test results to limit the spread of infectious diseases. Our ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented and organized individual with 2-3 years of experience in the field (ideally some experience running Covid assays/protocols). We're looking for someone with a can-do attitude, a firm understanding of current scientific best practices, and an interest in developing their career as a skilled laboratory technician.
This role works directly with the Laboratory Technician Manager and Clinical Laboratory Scientists. You will be responsible for performing routine and non-routine tests, verifying and analyzing all samples and data, and ensuring accurate data entry.
This position starts at $25.00 per hour. In addition to a base salary, you will have the ability to earn an incentive-based quarterly bonus. This position will be full time (Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday).
As a full-time member of the team, you will receive medical, dental, life, and retirement benefits. This includes 3 weeks of paid time off (PTO) per year, which increases to 4 weeks per year after 1 year of service. If you are interested in an opportunity to take your career to the next level, send a copy of your resume to our application system (the link is below).
Once you've completed your upload you will begin our testing processes. There are 6 timed tests in total taking a little more than an hour to complete. They should be completed in a quiet and distraction-free environment. Upon completion, your results will be sent to us, and we may contact you for a phone interview. Thank you for your interest in our company!
