General Summary: Functional responsibilities include predictive model development and deployment, customer segmentation planning, dealer program and marketing campaign execution and other quantitative research as needed. The Manager, Predictive Analytics is the subject matter expert in modeling and advanced analytics.
1. Develop and implement advanced predictive models using cutting-edge data mining and statistical modeling techniques.
- Develop and execute experimental designs and optimization schemes for ongoing marketing campaigns.
- Identify customer analytics opportunities and decompose marketing strategy into ideas and specific projects for model development and execution.
- Evaluate and enhance the modeling process (requirements, design, implementation and measurement) of predictive models, segmentation, and other statistical techniques.
- Provide expertise in modeling, optimization and data visualization. Introduce new methods and tools to drive analytic innovation.
- Manage dataset creation and data quality control processes for analytics and model development and validation.
- Establish model validation and scoring process, and manage model inventory and documentation.
- Develop and communicate business-driven analytic solutions and capabilities, translating modeling and analytic output into understandable and actionable business knowledge.
2. Utilize micro segmentation, analytics and predictive models to target right customers with right products and treatment for all markets and products. Oversee Program and Campaign Data Process.
- Manage model deployments and program executions to launch dealer programs and marketing campaigns.
- Work with stakeholders across the organization, such as other teams in Sales, Marketing, Risk, Credit, Finance, IT and Legal to assist in the development of programs, products and enhancements to improve OEM sales and captive loyalty.
- Develop program deep dives to summarize and communicate program findings to senior management and OEM partners.
3. Conduct strategic customer analysis and other quantitative market research to support sales & marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Five (5) plus years of experience with statistical modeling and data mining using large and complex datasets
- Hands on experience and expertise in linear/non-linear regression models, time series model, survival analysis, cluster analysis, factor analysis, marketing mixed modeling, and optimization.
- Strong business acumen and previous experience with process improvement as it relates to model building, automation, validation, or other statistical methods.
- Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Mathematics, Computer Science or related quantitative field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of statistical/econometric models, advanced data mining and predictive modeling techniques.
- Statistical programming software experience is required (SAS, R, Matlab, SQL).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate ideas and analysis results effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
