As an Real Estate Occupancy Planner within our Global Real Estate team, you will facilitate and ensure the accurate reporting of headcount and space information and foster critical relationships between associates and business units within Capital Group.You will lead the effort in providing space planning, data analysis, reporting and interpretation of space planning metrics in an effort to provide recommendations and proposed solutions for Capital Group. Under the supervision of the Global Strategic Space Planner, resolve space need requests for global sites and manage the supply, capacity and demand of all the buildings within the Capital Group real estate portfolio. Prepare AutoCAD drawings to be imported to (CAFM System) through cleaning the layers and poly-lining the spaces Work in CAFM System to assign space attribute information and location numbers Update CAFM System floor plans when furniture is reconfigured, and project work is completed Prepare/present summarized findings and recommendations for action or consideration In AutoCAD, design test fits, provide BOMA take-off's and dimensions as requested Oversee posting global floor plans weekly to internal site Prepare and Revise any special requested plans (i.e. social distancing, etc.) as needed in AutoCAD, CAFM System and PowerPoint Report the status of major initiatives affecting planning decisions for the sites Report and compare actual seat demand versus projected seat demand at the building level. Provide updated capacity and occupancy monthly reports for global portfolio Understanding of construction documents to be able to locate requested archived information Assist in developing site-specific planning strategies with Senior Leadership. Prepare Excel reports (Pivot Tables) from extracted CAFM System data Prepare and Review building specific blocking, stacking and migration plans As necessary, participate in project and move coordination planning meetings. Report the current supply and capacity, and forecasts inventory changes as needed Skills/Qualifications/Core requirements and technical skills: Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Design, or related field with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a corporate environment Previous experience in space/occupancy planning at a strategic level, plus experience with interior office renovations Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) Advanced in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, & CAFM software Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Anticipates, identifies, quantifies, and resolves problems in a timely and positive manner Consistently meets deadlines and completes tasks as previously defined Ability to solve problems individually and in a team setting Ability to pay attention to details and be organized. Ability to process work quickly, accurately and with changing priorities Ability to collaborate, problem solve and multi-task Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of department's function and applies it to work assignments. Strong attention to detail.
