Sr. QA Automation Engineer

Summary
A Senior QA Automation Engineer plays a key role in the Company's strategy and work to transform our business systems and enterprise thinking. This role will define and create a Robust Test Automation Framework and bring a test early/test often mindset to all areas of the organization. A Senior QA Automation Engineer will work closely with IT and the business divisions to be responsible for helping to build out requirements, test plans, and automated test suites for critical integration solutions/applications for the company. A Senior QA Automation Engineer is responsible for understanding the relationships between the different business channels and their transactions throughout the global enterprise. This includes Retail, Wholesale, eCommerce systems, and marketing concepts on a global scale.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver testing artifacts in a timely and accurate manner to meet business and IT goals
Define and create a robust automated regression test framework to ensure functional and non-functional requirements of the business
Deliver solutions with full documentation and reporting sufficient for an enterprise solution
Define and execute system, regression, and performance and scalability testing to meet quality objectives
Foster and evangelize a test early/test often mindset throughout the enterprise
Maintains a high level of curiosity, constantly growing knowledge relating to expectations of system functionality and content
Applies gained knowledge to suggesting process improvements in team meetings and open discussions
Be that person that everyone wants on their project/team
Understand data flow and data integration of disparate systems
Identify and source/create test data needs into appropriate databases in an accurate and timely manner
Work with Analysts and Business Users to create and translate functional specifications into test plans and automated test suites

QUALIFICATIONS:
Five (5) years of QA Automation experience or equivalent combination of education, experience and demonstrated ability
Experience creating and organizing automated regression test frameworks from the ground up
Experience working in an Azure DevOps environment
Experience with ERP, Retail POS, and WMS systems a plus
Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations RSAT a big plus
Design test strategies and test cases for complex systems and execute various types of testing, e.g., functional, integration, end-to-end, on web and mobile platforms
Assist stakeholders in determining appropriate quality goals and acceptance criteria
Web Services (REST and SOAP)
XML, Flat Files, etc. (CSV, Fixed-Width)
Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required with experience in required skillset
Superior active listening skills, with a strong display of active inquisitiveness
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Thrives in collaborative environment but comfortable with ambiguity
