Summary
VP Human Resources
This senior HR leader will lead, manage and develop our HR teams to drive process improvement, maximize HR efficiencies, manage and organize support teams for maximum efficiency and output. The leader in this role understands business priorities and translates them into an HR agenda that supports Advantage's overall strategy. The VP of HR will assess human capital needs in areas such as performance management, employee relations, shared services, and leadership development, and drive the appropriate, agile solutions in these areas. Reports directly to CHRO.
Your focus will be to:
Establish credibility throughout the organization as an experienced leader who manages and thrives in a complex HR environment where calm, reasoned decision-making is essential
Develop and evaluate appropriate policies and programs for effective management of the people resources of the organization. Included in this area would-be programs such as - but not limited to - employee relations, affirmative action, sexual harassment, associate complaints, external education, and career development
Maintain knowledge of evolving HR policies, programs, laws, and issues
Structure and develop the HR team to provide maximum benefit to the organization while continuously building team capabilities
Leverage associate data to inform people-centric decisions for the company that will also achieve business outcomes
Maintain knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management
You have:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field. A Master's degree in HR or MBA preferred, not required
10+ years of HR experience, managing and/or directing in complex, dynamic organizations
Experience managing large teams (30+ headcount, 4-6 direct reports)
An energetic, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and presence
Demonstrated success and enthusiasm for managing through ambiguity
An operational mindset
Innate bias for action
Shared services management experience a big plus; call/support center leadership experience also a big plus.
Experience with a distributed workforce and exposure to high-impact HR functions and employee relations from other organizations of similar scale and complexity
Strong focus on people to develop a team and operate in a highly collaborative environment. Exceptional coaching, mentoring, and people development skills
Strong aptitude for leading through change, setting direction, and delivering results
Proven ability to effectively focus resources to implement a business strategy, generate excitement and commitment around vision and goals and drive innovation and change
An expert ability to think strategically and execute tactically, with strong attention to detail
Outstanding written/verbal communication and listening skills
Proven capability to present complex concepts in a concise and understandable way to a variety of audiences
Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations

Qualifications:
