Position Overview
The Treasury Management Services Manager responsible for managing, developing, and motivating the department to leverage expert knowledge to proactively and creatively present solutions to clients and business partners while ensuring the department adhere to Bank policies and procedures. Provide outstanding customer service to internal and external clients by addressing all issues and concerns, monitor workflow to improve and streamline processing method, and market products as needed. Review existing business customer relationships and identify new services to establish sales and service culture to maximize their contribution to the Bank's goals while delivering the Six Diamond experience to all business clients. The Manager is responsible for the overall performance, safety, and soundness of the department.

Job Requirements:
Role and Responsibilities

  • Review and approve all new treasury management service requests
  • Responsible for the department's overall performance and the team's passion for excellence in every aspect of work
  • Verify that approval requirements are met for ACH, Wires, RDC and document all approval process activities
  • Prepare and maintain process documentation as required by internal / external audit and regulators
  • Create, update, review, and ensure compliance with all bank and departmental policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain relationships with other department and organizational leaders and maintains operational alignment with core values, vision, strategy and goals
  • Provide training and guidance to others in the department on new and existing processes
  • Provide support to Branch Associates, Private Banking, and Taft Hartley teams
  • Responsible for communicating effectively and professionally with clients and internal partners on regular basis, in a collaborative and proactive manner
  • Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act regulations and adhere to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements and policies as well as attending all required training sessions and completing all required on-line training courses
  • Coach, counsel, and develop managers, supervisory staff, hiring and training staff, prepare and conduct performance appraisals, prepare and implement new and updated policies and procedures
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performances, rewarding and disciplining employee; addressing complaints and resolving problems for 1-7 employees
  • Provide coaching and development to ensure successful performance including, partner management, team development and personal coaching
  • Focus on the success of each team member, including support and development of career progression
  • Develop and drive the team performance in line with company's strategic initiatives
  • Foster open communications with the associates and create and positive working environment
  • Coach, train, and develop a high performing department while providing a positive team environment
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge to insure that all Treasury Management Services are at maximum quality
  • Assist in ensuring that disaster recovery procedures are in place and fully functional
  • Assist in testing and implementation of bank systems enhancements, releases, and upgrades
  • Actively participate in any required corporate and business line Compliance Training
  • Proactively manage risk, escalated issues, and provide ideas and solutions to risk based problems
  • Maintain a professional working relationship with leaders and peers
  • Act as a liaison between the client and bank operations, sales officers, vendors and Relationship Managers to ensure the delivery of quality services and to meet client needs
  • Identifying new opportunities for expanding or diversifying existing software and services
  • Plan, organize, direct, and control the Bank's commercial cash management functions/products
  • Understand and support company' strategic objective and initiatives
  • Actively takes part in or controls the revenue generation process at the functional level and contribute to overall bank success
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3- 5 years of related banking experience in treasury management
  • Minimum of 3 -5 years of sales banking products and management experience
  • Excellent knowledge of ACH system and ACH Origination & Receiving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to provide thorough training to business clients
  • Demonstrated high level of analytical ability in order to evaluate and resolve complex treasury management related and other bank/customer business problems
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to organize multiple projects, managing competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events managing workflow and use time efficiently prioritizing to meet tight deadline
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a multi tasked environment, maintaining a professional image
  • Ability to meet multiple, strict deadlines on diverse work streams, at times on top of regular daily responsibilities
  • Ability to communicate issues in a timely manner to Senior Management
  • Ability to proactively identify, research, and recommend policy and procedure changes to reduce costs, streamline operations, and/or increase efficiency
  • Ability to integrate activities with other departments to accomplish common goals
  • Ability to manage the daily activities of assigned functional area; prioritizing; completing multiple activities; resolving problems as they arise
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal partners
  • Ability to influence those outside of direct management control
  • Ability to deliver results
  • Ability to lead a successful sales and service team
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Internet skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
  • AAP Certification preferred
