Job Description:

Monarch Tractor is seeking UI/UX designer with formal UI/UX training and a base knowledge of graphic design to join our team at a full-time position. You will be working in a fast-paced environment conducting research, creating graphic elements, and prototyping for our products.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about autonomy, electric vehicles and sustainability in farming. You'll be working out of our Livermore office in a collaborative work environment. This position requires someone who has extensive knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and prototyping tools Xd or Figma. Knowledge of programming languages are a big perk. Responsibilities include:

• Creating and pitching wireframes
• Designing brand appropriate styling
• Mocking up prototypes
• Working with developers to produce the designs
• Participate in validating and testing the product

Qualifications/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Interactive design, Communication/Graphic Design, UX Design or related field
• 5+ years of professional UX/UI Product Design experience OR in lieu of professional work experience, an advanced design degree
• Exceptional visual design skills with sensitivity to intelligent system interactions
• Prototyping abilities (e.g. Invision, Flinto, Framer, HTML/CCS, After Effects)
• Versed in Human-Centered design thinking approach, techniques and philosophy
• Automotive UI/HMI experience is preferred, candidates that have strong creative work experience in digital product design solutions are a fit
• Experience in Agriculture space
• Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Aha and others
• Current with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
• Knowledge of Agile scrum or other lean methodologies
• Experience working in a startup a big plus
