You will acts as main point of contact to managers and employees of the Livingston Winery to enable a high level of employee engagement. You will participate in the implementation of human resources-based projects, programs and initiatives partnering with Centers of Excellence (COE's). You will be responsible for developing collaborative relationships with client group(s) fostering manager understanding and employee engagement. Ideal candidate will have experience working in a union manufacturing environment.
What you'll do :
- Partners with client leadership team members to assess the effectiveness of the organization's leadership, communication, and organizational design.
- Partners and meets regularly with HR leadership and client group(s) leadership to implement objectives, goals, strategies and measures (OGSM's) that drive business strategy.
- Develops business relationships with employees (ranging from entry-level employees up to department directors) to enable high engagement and facilitate organizational success.
- Facilitates organizational discussions and processes (e.g. assimilation plans, employee movement, department re-organizations., organizational structure and existing organizational capabilities).
- Supports HR leadership to administer the Human Resources Planning/Functional Succession Planning (HRP) processes; ensures integration of HRP into performance management and staffing decisions for high potential employees and management.
- Conducts career coaching sessions; creates employee development plans and monitors the progress of the employee.
- Works with leadership toidentify high potential employees and develop their career paths.
- Plays an active role in the Strategic Workforce Planning process including advising on the talent strategy and needed Skill Teams in order to achieve business objectives.
- Identifies and facilitates leadership development opportunities leveraging existing training material and/or partners with the Training Development team to create new material.
- Participates in HR projects, processes, and functions that involve human resources and client group leadership.
- Master's degree plus 2 years of human resources generalist, business partner experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of human resources generalist, business partner experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 8 years of human resources generalist, business partner experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Experience handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Required to support a continuous operations workforce which may require a flexible schedule across day, swing and graveyard shifts to support business activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration plus 6 years of resources generalist, business partner experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Experience implementing federal contractor compliance obligations (e.g. OFCCP) and EEO/AA policies and practices.
