Overview:
Learn and focus on the cafe standards.
Full knowledge of all food and beverage offerings.
Review any changes to menu and/or specials.
Greet guests.
Bus tables as necessary as well as cleaning the Lobby area. Make sure guest are not leaving dirty cups or empty bottles.
Independent cashier.
Prepare and/or delivers guest's beverage order.
Promptly deliver guest's food and beverage order ensuring quality and accuracy.
Attend to guest during their entire experience.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of cafe area.
Complete all required side work.
May be required to be responsible to work with cash and turn in balanced.
Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Maintain appearance standards as outlined in the employee handbook.
Provide information and explain all marketing promotions.
Provide courteous service and be cordial to all team members and guests.
Effectively communicate orally and in writing.
Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.
Comply with hotel standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
Must be able to understand and apply complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.
Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest and operational needs.
Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
Must be able to multi task and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
Must be able to cross-train in other areas of the hotel.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
Attend all required hotel meetings and trainings.

Qualifications:
Physical & Mental Demands
Must work well under pressure.
Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours.
Must be able to lift up to forty pounds on an intermittent basis.
Must be able to bend, stoop lift, reach, push, pull, twist, walk, crouch, and squat.
Must be able to speak, hear and see.
Working Conditions & Environment
Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays & special events as needed.
Minimum Job Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Excellent oral communications skills.
Excellent hygiene habits.
Must possess reasonable ability to communicate in English.
