The Job
Manages and completes the delivery of business process and data analyses to support and improve the operational effectiveness of various departments and functional responsibilities, with particular emphasis on process analysis; data collection and analysis; performance monitoring; and report development. Understands problems, issues and opportunities in the context of the business process and utilizes data to identify and recommend appropriate solutions for resolution.
You Will
Designs, develops, tests and implements operational reporting to monitor and evaluate in-scope department functions, processes, programs and/or initiatives.
Develops and maintains reporting and supporting databases as required, with strong understanding of connection points to other original data sources, databases and related systems/applications.
Supports operational needs of in-scope business units by constructing and analyzing queries and reports on a wide range of organizational data; support program evaluation studies with data analysis when appropriate.
Utilizes expertise in Excel, Access, SQL, and data visualization tools (Tableau) to design, develop, test and implement reports and other analytical work products.
Completes business process analysis to identify performance improvement opportunities, including current state process documentation and analysis; root cause analysis; future state process design and documentation.
Develops and/or updates process flow documentation; policies and procedures, desktop procedures, job aids; and training materials to implement process- and system-based solutions as needed.Identifies implementation barriers and bring to the attention of management.
Enhances operational efficiency by identifying and tracking process- and system-based challenges/ opportunities.
Ensures on-time completion of activities and deliverables by developing and maintaining supporting work plans. Facilitates projects and activities to completion as appropriate. Engages with stakeholders effectively and professionally.
Completes all work products and deliverables with high level of attention to detail, including the protection and safeguarding of sensitive and/or Protected Health Information (PHI) data.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by conducting research and by attending educational workshops focused on analytics, data science and supporting technology/applications.

Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in business administration, public health, data science, operations research/management, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of operations, data analysis, or information management experience in the healthcare industry.
- 1+ years of experience with SQL reporting required. Prior experience working with significant amounts of data; working with and safeguarding sensitive information and PHI data.
- Demonstrated analytical and analytics ability (at a minimum, problem-solving and root cause analysis; qualitative and quantitative analysis; data mining/preparation, report design and development; data visualization).
- Ability to understand business processes, including the identification of inefficient activities and performance metric monitoring.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret and present data analysis in an effective manner.
- Strong computer skills including MS Office, SQL, and Tableau.
- Prior experience in program evaluation preferred and is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and produce complete deliverables within set deadlines.
