Banking, Lending, & Trust is a center of excellence that brings teams and functions currently found across WIM's consumer businesses under a common, WIM-level organization. The group is focused on transforming from channel-based to client-focused solutions and delivery in an effort to reduce operational risk, improve efficiency, increase consistency/coordination, and bring focus on product management / development to deliver innovative growth and improve the client experience. Additionally, the new group will deliver a WIM-level culture of product management excellence by creating a culture of innovation, product excellence, client service and risk mitigation.

This Fiduciary Team Manager will manage fiduciary administrators on the Market Service Team within the California Trust Client & Advisor Services office. Accountable for the performance of the team including retention, profit management and risk management. The team members are responsible for setting up and administering moderately complex trust accounts. Assigns accounts and ensures relationships are managed according to fiduciary policies and procedures to ensure satisfactory audits and internal and external service standards are met. Provides fiduciary oversight and answers moderately complex questions regarding trust taxability, document interpretation and fiduciary risk management. Reviews documents, ensures fees account for administrative complexity and approves discretionary distributions up to appropriate amount. Confers with Relationship Management team regarding the establishment, administration and operation of trust accounts. Coaches to behaviors that support a culture of urgency, proactivity, ownership and strong communication skills that enables a strong partnership with internal Advisors and ultimately translates to an excellent client experience within their region / assigned book of business. Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, and developing trust team members. Works with investment managers to value assets, and develop investment strategy.

  • Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your employees feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them.
  • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented employees, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing employees, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.


Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following industries: financial, trust, or legal; or 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following industries: financial, trust, or legal plus one of the following degrees or certifications: BA or higher in Trust & Wealth Management, JD, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (tm) or Certified Trust Fiduciary Advisor
  • 1+ year of team leadership or management experience

Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

CA-Long Beach: Min: $93,900 Mid: $134,200 Max: $174,500
