POSITION Assistant Store Manager(Full-Time)
1940 Pico Blvd., Los Ángeles, CA 90006

SALARY Based Upon Experience

JOB PURPOSE: To partner with the Store Manager in the day-to-day operation of the store.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a minimum of one year previous retail experience as a supervisor.
• Must be fluent in the English language, written and spoken.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to operate POS/Cash Register.
• Must hold a valid driver license, be able to show proof of insurance and have access to a motor vehicle.
• Must pass background check, which will include Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Must possess excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with management, store employees, customers and donors.

ESSTENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible to create a pleasant and hospitable work environment, maintain good customer relations.
• Be well versed in, and ensure compliance with Guide to Thrift Store and Donation Centers Operations.
• Conduct monthly staff and safety meetings and ensure compliance with all safety measures.
• Conduct regular evaluations for staff and provide training, direction, and supervision for new staff.
• Schedule all sales staff and unpaid staff to ensure full coverage and submit completed payroll biweekly.
• Responsible for proper accounting and bank cash receipts at the end of business day.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
• Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, clothing carts, merchandise carts, rolling clothing racks, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks and carts, hand trucks and carts.
• Ability to physically stand on feet for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks.
