Job description

Responsibilities
You will serve as the Business Manager for SwabSeq laboratory and genomic testing for the Department of Computational Medicine providing business, administrative, and financial functions. You will manage financial operations for the laboratory and manage sales and service activities. In addition, you will liaise with internal and external clients/users of laboratory services, work with leadership on regulatory issues and business processes, as well as work with central offices and laboratory for tracking inventory and modeling future lab needs.

Qualifications

Required:

Demonstrated skill in applying accounting and audit principles and practices in a University or non-profit environment.

Working knowledge of University financial ledgers and payroll and accounting systems.

Experience with University sales and services funding policies & procedures.

Mathematical skills sufficient to monitor expenses and analyze costs.

Ability to function as part of a team and as accounting liaison/analyst in a large, complex, and growing unit..
