Job Responsibilities

The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for enterprise-wide software system planning, design, implementation, and support. Includes but not limited to finance/accounting, human resources/payroll, and project management systems. Competent to work at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment. Guides and advises less-experienced business systems analysts. Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Works with general supervision from manager.
  • Conducts business analysis and requirements gathering, process documentation, project deliverable creation & support.
  • Contributes to System/ Functional Architecture Analysis and drive solution identification and implementation.
  • Collaborates with various departments to identify business needs and translate those into CMiC system or reporting solutions.
  • Manages reporting needs of project end users including development, testing, maintenance, and management of secondary resource's
  • Business process expert who acts as the liaison between the project user community and IT
  • Ongoing review and updating of use case test scripts
  • Determines testing methodology for upgrades
  • Testing of Hot Fixes and Patches (upgrades)
  • Assists in defining and enhancing security roles within CMiC to ensure the appropriate level of access is provided
  • Updates existing end user training material and prepare end user training material for new implementations
  • Facilitates ongoing training of end users
  • Day to day support of CMiC end users
  • Manages and works within the limits identified in the SOX controls document.
Minimum Requirements
  • BA/BS in business, management, construction, or technology related field + 4- years related experience in analytics and/or process improvement role.
  • Must possess Intermediate to Expert analytical skills
  • Basic to Intermediate SDLC knowledge
  • Must possess intermediate knowledge in systems testing, validation, and support.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced working experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • High level communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong collaboration and partnering skills.
  • Ability to analyze issues and recommend solutions
  • Committed to providing a high level of customer service to all stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of software, system implementation experience desired
  • Working knowledge of relational databases.
  • CMiC, SQL, Jasper Soft report writing and writing tools
