Are you our next Operations Finance Manager?
FIJI Water is currently seeking an Operations Finance Manager to forecast and analyze financial results, monitor variances, identify trends and efficiency of process, and recommend and present actions to all levels of management. As an integral part of the FIJI Water Finance Team, this role must have experience with financial reporting, forecast modeling and be a strong team player working in collaboration with international teams. This role requires initiative, drive and curiosity of the business -- a business that is more than just water.
The Operations Finance Manager supervises one direct report and works very closely with a team of four in Fiji. The role is based in Los Angeles, CA and does require quarterly travel to Fiji.
Job Description
What our Operations Finance Manager will do:
- Lead development and execution of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, focusing on underlying business drivers, key financial and operating metrics, and sensitivity analyses
- Responsible for monthly financial reports, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgets in partnership with Corporate FP&A
- Partner with plant finance and operations teams to develop and maintain budget/standard costs, cost estimate revisions, and actuals for end-to-end supply chain.
- Manage timelines and coordinate communication of key financial data points to enable functions to deliver complete and thorough business plans on time
- Plan, review and analyze all capital spending projects & adherence to budget
- Lead development of pro-forma financials for prospective new products
- Lead direct report on analyst responsibilities, including preparation of monthly close and journal entries, monthly department-level financials with variance explanations, department-level forecasting and budgeting, and assessment of key business metrics
- Lead, mentor and development of direct report and collaborate closely with finance team in Fiji
Are you the right fit for this role?
Skills & experience that are necessary as our Operations Finance Manager will include, but not limited to:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics or a related field; MBA and/or CPA is preferred
- Extensive experience in leading CPG or retail enterprise FP&A and financial reporting
- Development and management of the financial reporting for operations, cost of goods, and capital projects
- Strong understanding of GAAP standards and procedures required
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required; knowledge of VBA is a plus
- COVID vaccination will be required for this position unless candidate has a legally valid exemption
