FINANCIAL COORDINATOR

Reports to: CEO

Location: Los Angeles

Commitment: Part-time (20 hrs/week)

Starting date: Immediate

*For this position, we will only consider candidates who are willing to work in-office and partially remote. Not fully remote.

Description

The Financial Coordinator will do day-to-day financial procedures, handle all accounting data entry, revise and update financial reports and prepare financial data for audits, reviews, and taxation. This person must be confident working with external tax accountants and preparing the returns. Agency and/or brand experience is preferred but not required.


Responsibilities

  • Handle all banking, cash flow, A/R, A/P, payroll, QuickBooks, financial statements
  • Liaise with CPA for tax compliance
  • Assist with the preparation of operating budgets, financial statements, and reports
  • Process requisition and other business forms, check account balances, and approve purchases
  • Manage records, issue invoices, and handle payments
  • Collaborate with internal departments to reconcile any accounting discrepancies
  • Analyze financial data and assist with audits, reviews, and tax preparations
  • Review existing financial policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Provide assistance with payroll administration
  • Continuously improve and enhance current client/vendor relationships


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or in a related field
  • Background in accounting and/or finance preferred
  • Experience working in the fashion and/or agency industry is a preferred but not required
  • At least 2 years of experience
  • Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks Online required
  • Proficiency of HR/Benefits systems (ie. TriNet, ADP)
  • Bill.com experience strongly desired
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting standards, fiscal procedures, and applicable tax codes
  • Efficient account management
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Great analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Must be located in Los Angeles
