We are working with one of our clients in the Hollywood area who is looking for an HR Generalist to help manage all their daily HR functions. This position is located in Hollywood and is looking for some who can go into the office full time. Come join this exciting team at a fast growing company. Experience with Leave of Absence and Workers Compensation is a must. As an HR generalist, some of your responsibilities will include, handling leave of absence and workers compensations, recruiting for open positions, training and onboarding, as well as much more.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle administration of Leaves of Absence and Workers Compensation
  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
  • Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
  • Undertake tasks around performance management
  • Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
  • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities

Qualifications:

  • 2 plus years of proven experience as an HR Generalist or HR Coordinator
  • Degree in Human Resource Management or relevant field required
  • Knowledge of Leave of Absence, workers compensations, and labor laws is a must
  • SRHM certified is a plus but not required
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems will be a plus
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Aptitude in problem-solving
  • Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
