We are working with an Entertainment advertising company located in Los Angeles who is looking for an HR Generalist/Recruiter to help manage all their daily HR/Recruiting functions. This position is fully remote, but would like someone local to the Los Angeles area to come into the office once a month. Since this position is within the entertainment and advertisement industry, experience in the industry is highly preferred. As an HR generalist/recruiter, some of your responsibilities will include, recruiting for open positions, training and onboarding, as well as much more.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle administration of Leaves of Absence and support ADA Accommodations interactive process
  • Talent acquisition and the full cycle recruitment processes
  • Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
  • Undertake tasks around performance management
  • Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
  • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities

Requirements:

  • 4 plus years of proven experience as an HR Generalist
  • Experience with recruiting within the media, advertisement, marketing industries (creative talent)
  • Degree in Human Resource Management or relevant field required
  • SRHM certified is a plus but not required
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws, LOA
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems will be a plus
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Aptitude in problem-solving
  • Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
