Primary Role and Responsibility:
We are looking for a Human Resources Manager to administer a full scope of Human Resource functions including culture, employee relations, talent management, organizational development, performance management, compensation, and benefits. This position will collaborate with other HR colleagues to capitalize on areas of expertise and provide a coordinated approach to providing HR services. In addition, this position will manage a wide-ranging variety of special projects as needed.
Help craft, implement and grow a world-class culture
Assist Marketing to showcase Employer Brand on Social Media channels
Act as business partner/primary point of contact for the day-to-day questions/issues that arise from employees, including the interpretation of HR policies, practices, and procedures to employees and managers
Drive key HR initiatives across departments, including staffing, performance management, training and development, rewards & recognition, organizational effectiveness, and employee communication
Effectively partner with employees and managers to resolve employee relations issues
Design, coordinate and facilitate employee programs, training, and events
Create an environment of positive employee relations by respecting confidentiality, establishing trust and credibility, being seen by employees as approachable and fair, balancing business needs with employee needs, and spending significant time interfacing directly with employees
Work with department leaders, and staff to establish and maintain a positive work environment that encourages the full use of diverse talents and abilities
Be a team player in the HR organization to process transactional work, administrative duties, and all compliance initiatives as needed
Uncover, assess and propose opportunities for HR process improvements
Facilitate new hire orientations and coordinate on-boarding efforts to ensure effective transition into the organization.
Coach and provides feedback to managers on leadership approach and style to improve employee performance and engagement
Demonstrated ability to coordinate, persuade and influence diverse stakeholders using a customer service focus
Provide guidance to managers on compensation planning issues, facilitates discussions and training specific to compensation strategy
Partner with external HR vendors and brokers and facilitate and promote employee wellness activities.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 years HR experience
HR certification preferred- SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong customer-service orientation, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and with a wide range of clients, individually and in groups
A strong belief that the right work culture is worth fighting for
Possess strong working knowledge of federal, state and local employment law
Demonstrate effective facilitation and consulting skills and proactively anticipate the needs of clients and the business
Strong project planning skills and the ability to effectively manage complex initiatives and programs
Willingness to travel
Must have intellectual curiosity and sound judgment in resolving issues
Enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, start-up environment while executing delegated tasks and assignments
Previous experience with ATS/HRIS/Finance systems, (Jobscore, ADP, Netsuite)
Mid to advanced expertise with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
