Job Description

Thorofare is currently seeking a Real Estate Investor Relations Associate who can provide investors with thoughtful, timely, accurate and relevant information regarding the status of their accounts, Thorofare's investment strategy, and portfolio performance. You should be personable and enjoy working in a fast paced team environment. Applicants should:

*Possess strong writing, editing, and correspondence skills; ability to write clearly, concisely, and achieve the right tone with clients, prospective clients, and business partners
*Possess knowledge of commercial real estate investments and basic analytics
*Enjoy and work well in a team environment
*Be a self-starter and capable of managing your own time effectively
*Be able to handle a breadth of responsibilities, while maintaining accuracy and a detail-oriented focus
*Possess strong oral communication skills, both in-person and on the phone
*Possess impeccable organization skills and be extremely detail-oriented; be able to track and manage complex processes with numerous stakeholders; ability to develop or enhance new processes when necessary
*Feel comfortable working under pressure in a dynamic environment; be able to adhere to deadlines and handle shifting priorities
*Be comfortable using Microsoft Office programs, primarily Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, in addition to Adobe Acrobat
*Undergraduate degree and proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. are required
*Live within a one-hour commute to Downtown Los Angeles

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include:

*Be able to understand and articulate investor financial statements to clients in a clear, concise manner
*Work in Microsoft excel to develop ad-hoc investment analysis and basic financial models for our various fund investors.
*Developing value-added content in PowerPoint to prepare pitch books for our existing and prospective clients
*Working with senior management to draft existing and prospective client correspondence
*Assisting senior team members in researching prospective consultants and clients and identifying strong prospects
*Tracking calls and meetings and designing an appropriate follow up plan
*Helping senior team members prepare for prospective client meetings

Pay: $45,000.00 per year
