Job description

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of B2B sales experience preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of standard software and online tools (MS Suite, Google Tools, etc)
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills along with the ability to create strong sales collateral
  • Solid experience negotiating contracts and partnerships
  • Hardworking and determined hustler, who has both the skills to close and the skills to maintain relationships over time
  • Previous experience working in a small business and/or start up environment is preferred; Resourceful and creative
  • Strong attention to detail with outstanding multi-tasking skills and solid follow through skills
  • Passion for and knowledge of the art world is a plus but not a requirement

Responsibilities include:

  • Generating revenue and closing new business
  • Autonomously craft and execute upon business development strategy
  • Identifying potential areas of expansion
  • Building relationships with key e-commerce businesses.

About the Position:

We're looking for a natural salesperson with a deep understanding of what makes a business profitable. Your primary responsibilities will be analyzing web based businesses and facilitating acquisitions between web entrepreneurs.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Establishing strategic relationships;
  • Negotiating and closing deals via email, phone, and video calls;
  • Analyzing and completing due diligence on a range of businesses;
  • Working with a global team (with offices in US, and Romania);
  • Strengthening the brand and company culture in our Los Angeles office;
  • Writing and preparing sales documentation including prospectuses and presentations;
  • Analyzing and responding to marketplace data and contributing to product development;

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • A strong interest in business and sales;
  • The ability to negotiate 6 and 7 figure deals;
  • A forensic-like attention to detail and punctuality;
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
  • The ability to identify future growth opportunities across various business models;
  • An understanding of business tools and financials (such as Excel and P&L statements);
  • The ability to identify the factors of a strong online business (websites or mobile apps);
