Nolan Heimann LLP is seeking a mid to senior level corporate associate to join our growing boutique firm. This opportunity is ideal for a smart, driven attorney who also wants to work in a friendly, happy environment that prides itself on doing things differently, having its attorneys' backs, an encouraging its team to live a balanced life.

You will assist in our practice of helping creative thinkers and business makers identify new opportunities, set goals, and develop revenue-generating action plans supported by sound legal structures. Our clients are innovating in all matters of media, entertainment, technology, gaming, merchandise, fashion, and cannabis. Specifically, you will assist in business transactions, business planning, corporate governance, alliance formation (JVs, joint collaborations), finance and business funding, M&A, securities, and cross-border transactions for new to middle market businesses.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of related experience in corporate transactions and be familiar with some or all of our practice areas' distinct needs. Matters on which you will work will be diverse, and include entertainment, start-ups, cannabis, and cryptocurrency.

The candidate must be admitted to the California Bar, have worked in the corporate department of a well-established regional or national law firm, and have a high level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.

The firm will consider a remote position within California.

Hours Expectation: 1,200 billable per year

Annual Salary Range (based on experience level): $130,000 to $150,000
