Century Park Capital Partners is a Los Angeles-based private equity firm established in 2000 that invests in family businesses, owner-operated companies and corporate divestitures with the purpose of accelerating their growth. We specialize in acquiring strategically well-positioned yet under-resourced middle market companies with identifiable potential for value creation through the addition of critical resources. We leverage our team of operating executives, the Century Park Executive Council, to invest in companies within their particular domain expertise, and then further support our investments with proven operational and strategic initiatives including buy-and-build acquisition programs, process improvement plans and infrastructure additions. KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred candidates for the Analyst / Associate position will have an undergraduate degree from a top institution, a stellar academic record, and between one to two years of full-time experience as an Analyst at a top-tier investment bank. Candidates with one year of full-time investment banking experience will be considered for an Analyst position, and candidates with two years of experience will be considered for an Associate position. Applicants should have excellent written and oral communication skills and be of high integrity. In addition, candidates will need to demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative capabilities, good organizational skills, accuracy, thoroughness and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work both independently and as a team member. Candidates will also be required to complete a timed financial modelling assessment. Due to the substantial opportunity for interaction with company management teams, a high degree of maturity is also required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyst / Associate will support the investment professionals with:

  • Financial modeling for evaluation and execution of investments
  • Various ad hoc financial analyses
  • Due diligence activities
  • Portfolio monitoring activities
  • Analytical aspects of quarterly/annual investor reporting
  • Industry and market research
  • General support of the firm's investment activities

Note that this is a two-year program with the potential to be promoted to Associate (for Analyst candidates) or Senior Associate (for Associate candidates).
