POSITION OVERVIEW
Netafim USA is a rapidly growing manufacturer of highly advanced irrigation systems and recognized as the industry leader at providing innovative, irrigation-based solutions to our customer base. The position of Product Application Specialist provides remote and in person technical and sales support for the Digital Farming product lines. Activities include in the field product commissioning, service, and training for DRM's, dealers, and existing and potential customers. This individual will be focused on the service and support specified by the Technical Department Manager in conjunction with Regional and National Sales and Marketing Managers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Own the success of Netafim's Digital Farming projects, prioritizing customer satisfaction
Commission, troubleshoot and repair Netafim irrigation control, Nutrigation, climate control, and ancillary products and systems.
Provide remote support, system diagnostics and guide repairs by the customer.
Follow-up with new and existing customer to ensure satisfaction.
Document all in field and remote support engagements
Demonstrates products to new and existing customers
Help develop presentations, specification documentation and various technical or sales materials for training or education of Netafim products to both internal and external customers.
Provide product education to all customer groups ensuring the complete understanding of Netafim product features, advantages and benefits, and durability.
Promotes products at trade shows and conferences.
Support market research activities and collects competitive information.
Strong commitment to annual personal development.
Other duties assigned as company needs dictate
OTHER SUPPORT RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with sales and marketing to meet/exceed Netafim USA's sales goals related to Digital Farming
"Hands-on" knowledge of the product line to allow timely response to field or service issues
Heavy travel, up to 75% overnight travel.
EDUCATION (minimum desired)
B.S. in engineering, technology, agriculture or related field.
EXPERIENCE
3+ years of technical sales and/or product management experience to include in field sales/service support
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Spanish is a plus
SKILLS
Technical - ability to understand and discuss the design, installation, and maintenance of indoor, greenhouse and open field irrigation systems reliably with the Netafim team, end-users, and potential customers
Automation - broad knowledge of irrigation controls, fertilizer/acid dosing, and filtration machines.
Interpersonal - ability to achieve results while working with diverse personality types and styles, both internal and external. Positive contributions in a high-energy team environment will be Expected.

Effective communication and presentation skills - written and oral
Proficient computer skills to include MS Word, Excel, Access, and database management.
