Job description
Responsibilities
Based in downtown Los Angeles, the Senior Analyst will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative analytical solutions and reporting strategies all the while supporting a broad array of HR initiatives and supporting ad hoc projects as needed.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Participate in the development, deployment and administration of compensation plans that are fair, competitive, supportive of organizational strategies and compliant with company direction, local laws, pay equity or other statutory requirements
- Partner with the Head of Compensation to analytically execute annual compensation processes including, but not limited to, compensation program design, budgeting, implementation of new programs and other ad-hoc requests
- Help manage the annual year-end compensation planning process, partnering with HR business partners and other colleagues to facilitate recommendations and pay actions
- Analyze existing data and help develop quantitative analysis and core D&I metrics to identify trends and challenges with respect to diversity and inclusion throughout the talent lifecycle to inform D&I programs led by the business and for individual departments
- Prepare HR data responses for recurring and ad hoc client diligence requests
- Conduct benchmarking analyses using external market surveys; Working with external providers and consultants on internal data submissions
- Partner with the HRIS team to ensure HRIS data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities
- Works with HRIS and IT staff to ensure that relevant systems meet HR data needs and coordinates with relevant department functions on updating systems with final information
- Develop and document procedures to streamline processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years or more of post-college experience in internal compensation role or HR analytics-related role or HR consulting
- Strong command of Microsoft Office preferred; Analytical experience strongly preferred (e.g., numerical research, data analysis, Excel modeling)
- Working knowledge of Workday is a plus
- Proven track record in maintaining discretion with confidential information; and
- Proven ability to manage tasks with competing priorities and deadlines, independently determining order of priority and self-initiating other value-added tasks.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions as well as capability in manipulating large data sets while maintaining data integrity

Education
Bachelor's degree is required.
