WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
Support the recruiting function by sourcing and attracting candidates, evaluating resumes, pre-screening candidates, coordinating interview schedules, and assisting with the offer and on-boarding process
Search resume databases for the most fitting candidates
Learn the effectiveness and success of current recruiting plans and strategies
Assist hiring managers with writing job descriptions and job postings
Recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
Track key recruiting KPIs and prepare recruitment reports
WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office/G-Suite, database management, and internet search
Familiarity with job boards, HRIS, databases, and management systems
Basic understanding administering various types of interviews (i.e., phone, video, etc.)
Ability and willingness to learn about the Sounding Boards position requirements
Ability to scan large volumes of resumes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Some understanding and knowledge with Recruitment Marketing and strategies
Good understanding and experience with HR tools such as ATS and HRIS
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Great interpersonal and communication skills
WHAT EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS DO I NEED?
Bachelors degree or equivalent is preferred
1-2 years of previous experience in recruiting or HR support is required
Experience in high growth or early-stage startups and an ability to learn and adapt quickly
Experience in fast-growth technology start-up is preferred
