Job description

Under general supervision, this position will oversee and manage open positions predominantly focusing on non-professional positions, with a strong focus on caregiving and dining staff. Confers with management and local HR to discuss long-range staffing needs. Prescreens candidates and coordinates hiring process.

  • Responsible for pre-screening, interviewing and referring qualified candidates to respective hiring departments
  • Proactively contact and recruit prospective candidates to establish relationships, understand their needs and qualify them for job opportunities
  • Educate prospective candidates on the personal and professional benefits of our company
  • Strategize with HR leadership to prioritize requisitions
  • Consult with hiring managers to understand their needs, the culture of their teams and to help them find the best talent available.
  • Help the rest of the HR and management team ensure that we are prepared for the new hires arrival and assist with their smooth transition into the company.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum AA degree with course work in business administration/human resources or related fields
  • 3+ years of general office work with progressive and directly related experience or equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities; acquainted with State and Federal laws.
  • 1+ year of recruiting, interviewing etc
