Production Associate - Madera, CA
Georgia-Pacific is looking for motivated Production Associates with a passion for safety to join our team in Madera, CA.

Production Associates contribute to a safe and clean plant environment by performing general housekeeping duties in different areas of the production floor. Successful candidates for this role must be available to work any shift, as well as overtime, weekends and holidays.
What You Will Do In Your Role
* Sharing team goals and managing job assignments
* Helping to operator machinery to expected performance levels
* Assisting crew members with set-ups, troubleshooting and making minor machine adjustments
* Organizing final products for both production and shipping distribution
* Performing basic OBC's, Operator Basic Care, on machines and equipment
* Completing general housekeeping duties to maintain a continuously safe and clean team work environment
* Maintain a strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment
* Work in a loud/noisy, hot, humid, dusty, greasy and high-volume environment
* Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for at least twelve (12) hours a day

Requirements:
* Available to work any shift, holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed
What Will Put You Ahead
* High School diploma or GED
* One (1) or more years of experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Previous experience working in the corrugated industry
* One (1) or more years of experience operating a forklift
* Forklift Certification
* Experience using computers for record keeping and documentation functions
