Job Summary:
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the effective management of warehouse operations, enforcing policies and procedures for receiving Raw Materials, shipping Finished Goods, transfers of materials and inventory management and control. The Supervisor is responsible for maintaining high levels of accuracy in day-to-day operations, lead and develop the Warehouse team and provide superior levels of customer service. Warehouse Supervisor oversees the shipping, receiving, storage and distribution of all items from/to both internal and external partners, and is responsible for ensuring all orders are picked, staged and shipped in accordance with inventory availability, optimizing fill rates while ensuring order accuracy.
Duty or Area of Responsibility:
75% - The Warehouse Shipping/Receiving Supervisor oversees the shipping, receiving, storage and distribution of all items from both internal and external partners. S/he ensures a smooth and consistent operation, and that finished goods and materials are located and distributed in an effective and efficient manner as required. This position oversees the receiving, storage and distribution of production of finished goods and materials across all shifts as well as monitor costs to ensure expenditures are within budget guidelines. Review daily worked hours on ADP system, approve weekly the timecards at the end of the work week.
15% - Executes inventory control procedures, including performing daily, monthly and quarterly physical inventory cycle counts, reconciling actual counts to E1 computer-generated reports. Supports Warehouse associates on all processes and procedures relative to inventory management and control. Provides support to the Warehouse and Production teams for root causes of Finished Goods and materials shrink and loss.
10% - Ensures Warehouse associates operate safely and in accordance with health and safety directives and guidelines at all times. Meet the expectations for Safety Breaks for the department.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Warehouse:
Manage all aspects of inbound Purchase Orders from Suppliers. This includes proper receiving documentation and accurate receiving in E1. Work with Material Replenishment and warehouse administrator on daily schedules. Arrange pick-ups, transfers, and special deliveries with core carriers as required to ensure timely delivery of orders.
Manage all aspects of outbound loads to the Distribution Centers and Customers. This includes processing, setting up of trucks and orders. Communicate with drivers to ensure efficient delivery of products. Coordinate shipping requirements to meet on time departures.
Working with the Warehouse Leads for receiving and shipping schedules.
Ensure that the daily work schedule is completed according to business productivity requirements and guidelines as provided by the site Manager.
Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements.
Knowledge of E1 system is helpful to oversee and maintain the work orders process, and to support Leads.
Inventory Control:
Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of Finished Goods and Raw Materials inventory reporting and systems controls, performing defined inventory cycle counts to validate system data in accordance with corporate and department policy and guidelines.
Apply experience in Distribution and Warehouse Operations, including policies and procedures specific to inventory management and control, shipping, receiving and warehouse operations.
Conduct daily blind cycle counts and inventory analysis to solve discrepancies and validate system data integrity for Raw, Packaging and Finished Goods.
Assist in a blind full cycle count of inventory quarterly as required by LOL for Raw, Packaging and Finished Goods.
Execute inventory control procedures, coordinating with internal customers daily on physical cycle count results.
Manage inventory levels daily, ensuring proper inventory procedures are followed.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Work with the manager in evaluating reports and drives internal and external performance metrics utilizing root cause analysis, developing corrective action plans for improvement.
Track general maintenance of machinery used in the warehouse, sign and audit the daily inspections and condition of tools and equipment.
Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
Enforces all company rules and regulations.
Ensures a high degree of professionalism, detail and focus.
Manages customer service and internal customers requests promptly and resolves issues quickly.
Ensures all required safety training is completed.
Supports the production team responsible for issuing materials on systems policies and procedures, working closely with production in timely and effective hand-off of Finished Goods.
Warehouse Crew
Provides effective supervision and leadership of the Warehouse Associates, including creating positive employee relations, conducting meetings, and ensuring overall effective department operations.
Has strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to perform root-cause analysis and make sound, logical business decisions in support of plant and corporate goals and objectives.
Achieves Warehouse staff objectives by selecting, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.
Monitors and verifies accuracy of time and attendance reports.
Assists in providing schedules for vacation and absentee coverage.
