This position will be responsible for providing Project Management leadership for GRAIL's supply chain organization. Projects will cover process development and improvement, system implementation and deployment. Programs will include our material Kanban, and material risk mitigation programs.
You will:
- Be responsible for project requirements, planning, execution and closure.
- Develop project timelines, RACIs, budgets, training plans; manage risks and issues, communicate effectively with collaborators across functions and leadership teams at both GRAIL sites; and facilitate decision making
- Work closely with Supply & Demand Planning managers, Warehouse personnel, IT and Software Engineering, Finance.
- Examples of Projects include: Implementation of Automated Purchase Orders, Warehouse Management System, and Demand Planning Module; Management of Kanban and Supplier Risk Mitigation projects; develop Business Continuity Procedures.
Your background and qualifications will include:
- Minimum of a BA/BS in a scientific field, business or supply chain is required.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years multidisciplinary experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry, with at least 5 years direct project management experience.
- Experience in developing, implementing and improving processes and systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to develop important relationships with customers and key partners, good conflict management skills.
- Proactive individual with strong leadership, facilitation, teamwork, and influence management/negotiation as well as excellent organizational skills.
- Proven ability to proactively identify risks and drive resolution of issues.
- Ability to work independently for decision-making and resolution of project obstacles and conflicts. Familiarity with developing budgets and forecasting.
- Ability to drive project plans and timelines (across multiple functional areas) is essential.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to interact seamlessly with a diverse group of individuals and levels.
Your preferred background and responsibilities will include:
- Understanding of CLIA/CAP, cGMP, FDA regulatory processes.
- Knowledge and experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes including Supply & Demand Planning, Logistics, and Warehousing.
- Results oriented and meticulous; self-motivated, ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to perform and be adaptive in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and lead cross-functional teams.
- Proven success in goal setting, prioritization, and time management.
- Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities.
- Experience development process maps and FMEAs
- Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent.)
