Are you an experienced Compensation professional? This could be the role for you! We are looking for a strategic partner to join our Total Rewards Team. You'll be a thought partner and consultative advisor who collaborates with partners across the People team, business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
You will:
- Design and implement effective and scalable compensation programs and influence compensation best practices.
- Assist with refining and articulating a compelling Total Rewards philosophy for GRAIL as well as present findings and thoughtful, creative solutions.
- Lead the program design and execution of GRAIL's compensation programs with ability to provide outstanding employee experiences
- Consult, advise and educate various stakeholders on compensation programs and processes
- Lead development of the cadence and content for training of various stakeholders across HR, Finance, and business leaders on GRAIL's approach to compensation and rewards
- Lead compensation benchmarking surveys, complete data submissions and maintain internal market pricing structures and initiatives
- Lead and implement GRAIL's cash and equity planning processes and any special initiatives
- Function as the subject matter expert for Compensation processes and capabilities within Workday as we move through system implementation
- Perform analysis on effectiveness, competitiveness and fairness of existing programs and tools.
- This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Head of Total Rewards and People Systems.
Your background should include:
- Bachelor's of Arts/Bachelor's of Science in related field
- 6+ years of experience in corporate compensation in a high-growth, fast-paced environment and/or compensation consulting working with high-growth companies
- Highly advanced skills with modeling and coordinating programs using Excel and Google sheets
- Experience in a client-facing role with the ability to influence and develop effective working relationships with multiple partners, including executives, management, and employees.
- Demonstrated experience and strong desire to build upon programs and processes to provide structure and enable scale
- Strong project management and change management skills
- Prior experience in Biotechnology or Medical Device industry
- Knowledge of California and North Carolina and federal HR regulations related to Compensation
- Experience with a multinational firm (with a UK presence in particular)
- Knowledge of Workday preferred; previous experience with Workday implementation highly preferred
