We are looking for outstanding team players to join our rapidly growing team in Menlo Park and New York offices. Compensation will be commensurate with comparable top elite boutique investment banking franchises. Associates will be expected to immediately contribute and lead multiple live deals and contribute to our rapid growth and success as we build a top tier investment banking franchise.


The CCM team benefits from significant transaction experience and domain expertise. The firm has established a strong track record of executing complex and transformational; transactions across technology, FinTech and other emerging, high-growth verticals, and offers a full suite of services including strategic advisory, capital markets advisory, SPAC advisory and merchant banking. Job Description

CCM is looking to add talented Associates to its teams in the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City, and is open to candidates with either coverage, M&A or equity capital markets backgrounds. Our Associates are key members of our team throughout all aspects of a transaction, from origination through closing activities. Associates are a key role on small deal teams and assume significant responsibility, working closely with senior bankers and our clients' senior executives, leading day-to-day execution of deal activities as well as managing and training analysts.


CCM offers our Associates the chance to help lead and get exposure to high-profile transactions, advance more rapidly and take on more responsibility than at traditional bulge-bracket firms. This is a unique opportunity to help build a rapidly growing investment banking team from the ground floor, with a strong early track record and large backlog of meaningful transactions, while having the backing of a leading SPAC Sponsor.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior bankers to originate client engagements and provide superior advisory/transaction execution services
  • Assume role of day-to-day contact for client senior executives, addressing questions, comments and other deal related matters
  • Lead project management and push transaction processes forward on day-to-day basis
  • Manage and lead development of client presentation and due diligence support materials
  • Identify, drive outreach to and manage interactions with corporate and / or financial sponsor buyers and investors
  • Initiate, prepare and manage the development of qualitative and quantitative analyses in support of transaction execution
  • Model and / or manage the modeling of complex transaction scenarios
  • Develop and deliver presentations in support of new business development
  • Help build a positive and supportive firm culture, focused on delivering world-class service to our clients
  • Help recruit, train and manage analysts


Requirements

  • For MBA candidates, 1+ years of relevant experience in Investment Banking, with preference for Technology, FinTech, InsurTech, Healthcare or Consumer sector coverage and strong experience across M&A, private placements and / or equity capital markets. SPAC transaction experience a strong plus
  • Additionally, candidates with specific product experience in equity capital markets, private capital raises, or M&A advisory would be strong fits for our growing platform
  • For non-MBA candidates 3+ years of relevant experience in Investment Banking
  • MBA or undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting, Finance, Economics), Technical Sciences (Engineering, Physics) or Liberal Arts from a top tier school preferred
  • Demonstrated capability to lead and manage projects
  • Excellent organizational, execution and time management skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in both large and small group settings
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Proven quantitative and technical skills
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and other industry resources such FactSet and Pitchbook
  • Team player with competitive drive and a collaborative, team-oriented approach to success
  • Maturity, presence and poise to take on client-facing responsibilities
  • U.S. work authorization
  • FINRA Series 63 and 79 registration
