This position is a 6+ month contract with possible extension, for one of our key clients, an American business that specializes in financial software.

- We are seeking an experienced and highly collaborative Sr. Business Systems Analyst to be part of our HR Applications team. In this role you will enable delivery and support of multiple HR offerings, executing on operational plans as well as designing and implementing technology enhancements that provide an awesome end user experience for CLIENT's Workforce.
- The primary area of focus will be Workday Application Management, driving the implementation and release of new functionality and enhancements, as well as operational tasks to support our Workday applications (core HCM, Compensation, Time Tracking & Absence Management, and Payroll).
- Additionally, you will leverage deep functional process expertise to understand process and systems requirements for core HR applications, contributing to the development of technology solutions - as part of a cross-functional Agile Scrum team.
Responsibilities:
- Apply your expertise to operate and enhance our HCM System (Workday) and related HR applications/integrations
- Coach and mentor junior team members
- Regularly communicate relevant changes/updates to the internal stakeholders
- Supervise the vendor customer support relationship, including maintaining operating mechanisms, presenting & reporting at quarterly business reviews, and managing cases through resolution
- Provide day-to-day production support and incident management.
- Research and resolve system problems, system access issues, unexpected results or process flaws
- Create and maintain pertinent documentation
- Translate business objectives and customer needs into clearly written business requirements
- Determine the right technology to fit the business requirements. Partner with various business and technical teams to drive the implementation of strategic initiatives
- Provide leadership to business teams to effectively leverage information by optimizing use of data and streamlining of business processes
- Effectively manage the change that results from the introduction of new technology and processes
- Identify and propose opportunities for change within a specific functional area.
- Think beyond normal parameters to influence the way the business works
- Apply excellent interpersonal skills across multiple organizations; communicate effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Configuration setup, end-to-end testing, and maintenance of core HR systems/applications
- Effective and persuasive communication skills (verbal and written) appropriate for project teams and business leaders
Required Skills:
- Functional SME in: Workday, HCM (HR)
- Good if they have Absence Management (Time-Off, LOA, Time Tracking)
- Integrations is nice to have - PICOF, PG, XLST (Programming)
- Familiarity with Payroll - Workday and ADP
