JOB SUMMARY

The Human Resource Coordinator will support the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including but not limited to HR reporting, compliance, Workday and HCHB support for field and Admin staff.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports and works with multiple agency IT & HR Representatives to provide training and multi-systems operational staff support.
  • Provides general support to the agency relating to HR policies, procedures, benefits, and recruiting.
  • Effectively onboards clinical and non-clinical staff members of the agency. Maintains recruiting websites.
  • Supports HR-processes associated with onboarding and orientation of agency staff.
  • Maintains compliant personnel files and FLSA or HR related policies/processes. HR support of survey readiness of the agency.
  • Device setup and coordination with IT Dept for all staff IT access.
  • Prepares new hire training materials. Assists in supporting new hires and current staff by answering general questions relating to timekeeping, payroll, benefits, and agency policies and procedures.
  • Maintains up to date renewable requirements and accuracy of employee database (HCHB).
  • Assists HR Manager as agency liaison for Work Comp and Leave of Absence reporting and follow up.
  • Stays apprised of current and new state and federal labor laws and regulations, as well as agency policies, procedures and implementation of agency HR support tools and platforms.
  • Contributes to Human Resources Department and agency goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Able to prioritize tasks and demonstrates autonomy, organization, and flexibility.
  • General knowledge of employment laws and practices.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HR management systems (HCHB and Workday).
