Lets do this. Lets change the world! In this vital role the Senior Marketing Manager of Out-of-Pocket (OOP) Support is part of the Affordability team and reports to Patient Access Capability Director.
You are responsible for strategy, development, and ensuring affordability and access to therapies through the management of various patient Affordability programs enabling patients to get started on the prescribed treatment as quickly as possible.

Responsibilities for this role will include the following:Develop and execute patient OOP-specific strategies for short and long-term affordability solutions, including completing goals and priorities to accomplish and measuring and tracking success
Lead, supervise, and foster the career development of the Affordability team
Manage copay and coinsurance programs that provide patient cost-sharing assistance, including method of grant issuance
Find opportunities for bridge programs to provide access to therapy while BV occurs to ensure the patient treatment is started quickly and is uninterrupted; coordinate transition from bridge program to insurance coverage
Ensure appropriate support patients whose benefits require a prescription switch with solutions that facilitate a smooth transition and reduces gap between treatments
Identify appropriate offerings of clinical trial options that provide starter therapies to patients and ensure no gap in treatment during coverage transition
Collaborate with Hub vendor (via regular meetings, reports, and other communications) in establishing SOPs for patient affordability and access support service offerings (including identification of points of entry)
Supervise development and execution out of pocket support resources including relevant trainings
Work cross-functionally with other business units as well as internal partners to ensure maintenance of Amgen legal, regulatory, and compliance standards
Serve as an advisor for OOP Support for every brand
Evaluate opportunities across the entire PSP portfolio

Basic Qualifications:Doctorate degree and 2 years of marketing, process and/or business operations experience and/or business experience in a role aligned with a marketing/sales commercial organization
OR
Masters degree and 4 years of marketing, process and/or business operations experience and/or business experience in a role aligned with a marketing/sales commercial organization
OR
Bachelors degree and 6 years of marketing, process and/or business operations experience and/or business experience in a role aligned with a marketing/sales commercial organization
OR
Associates Degree and 10 years of marketing, process and/or business operations experience and/or business experience in a role aligned with a marketing/sales commercial organization
OR
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of marketing, process and/or business operations experience and/or business experience in a role aligned with a marketing/sales commercial organization
Preferred Qualifications:Self-starter, ability to work under limited supervision and coordinate multiple projects
3 or more years working closely with marketing, compliance, healthcare company or related experience
Experience with customer service / call center operations
Experience working with copay or patient support programs
Confidence in working with various levels of staff
Experience leading or being a part of a cross-functional project team
Experience working with key internal or external partners, establishing, communicating and leading teams to timelines and project targets
Experience critically evaluating process and establishing creative solutions
Advanced skills with Excel and PowerPoint
Utilization of Project Management tools, methodologies, and practices
Strong project management skills, lead and run projects from concept to completion in a matrix and, at times, ambiguous environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly and successfully present information
Quick learner, proactive, takes initiative, goal oriented and results driven
Strong interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, active listening, and relationship management skills
Ability to influence others while fostering a value-based environment of high performance and fairness
Demonstrates creativity and foresight in anticipating and solving complex project issues
