The Contract Management team closes contractual negotiations with GTS clients as quickly and efficiently as possible, reducing time to revenue, minimizing legal costs, while protecting both the client relationship and BofA's risk position. Primary focus of the business is to prepare, review, and negotiate agreements including primarily Global Transaction Services cash management services agreements, but may also include master agreements and supporting documentation for account opening, and foreign exchange. Applies experience, industry standards and knowledge of treasury management products, corporate formation documents, and Bank of America policies to address related credit, risk, compliance, legal, operational, and business issues. The broader contract management team supports all GTS business which includes trade services, card products, and deposit account control agreements.

A successful Contract Negotiator will:
• Facilitate communications among sales, implementation, product, operations, compliance, risk, credit officers, legal staff, and client managers to promptly resolve documentation issues.
• Organize and prioritize a large number of competing, complex documentation assignments to meet customer needs.
• Present excellent analytical, verbal, and written communications skills and is comfortable representing the bank in communications with associates, clients, and internal/external counsel at all levels of management.
• Advise and educate internal associates about documentation standards and options, policies and procedures.

Required Skills
• Undergraduate/Graduate degree (Pre-Law or Business preferred)
• Paralegal or technical training on contracts preferred
• Broad knowledge of and comfort working with complex legal documentation (contracts)
• Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communications skills.
• Negotiation skills - conducts negotiations effectively, balancing competing objectives to achieve optimal results
• Risk aware (including of the protections that the various aspects of our agreements seek to achieve)
• Strong project management and process skills, able to handle full workload with tight deadlines
• Ability to develop effective and positive client relationships
• Ability to maintain objectivity in balancing bank risk with client needs and satisfaction
