Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
Summary: METTLER TOLEDO Rainin is currently searching for a Talent Acquisition Leader who will serve as a working recruiter and leader of the local recruiting team. .. Rainin employs 1,000 individuals and hires over 150 people per year. We are currently going through a high-growth period of time necessitating 24x7 operations and hiring at all shifts and within all levels of the organization.
In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor and business partner to leaders throughout the unit to ensure Rainin has the talent to meet strategic business needs. . This position reports to the Head of Human Resources, leads a team of three Recruiters and work closely with HRBPs, Department Leadership and the Regional Head of Talent Acquisition for North America.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Understands and responds to talent acquisition needs by developing strong relationships with business leaders / key employees.
* Carries a requisition load personally and lead the team to manage appropriate workload levels, KPIs, candidate experience, and hiring manager satisfaction.
* Develops and executes recruiting strategies for the most difficult-to-fill positions/levels. Proactively sources, nurtures, and pipelines candidates.
* Demonstrates a strong understanding of local labor markets, compensation and competition.
* Spearheads internal talent programs including referral bonus programs, internal mobility, emerging career rotational programs (Marketing, Engineering and Sales), and internships.
* Ensures all recruiting platforms are fully used and team is fully trained to leverage; (Avature ATS and CRM, HireVue video interviewing, SignNow for e-document processing, licenses to job boards and databases)
* Provides onboarding and orientation to new employees that prepare them properly, convey company culture, and foster employee engagement.
* Applies our hiring protocols, ensuring compliance with California hiring rules, and proper new hire paperwork.
What You Need to Succeed
* At least seven years of recruiting experience with prior leadership experience OR a minimum of five years of Mettler Toledo experience.
* Expertise in the California legal system as it related to hiring new employees.
* Previous experience managing job candidate activity in a complex applicant tracking system. (Avature or similar system preferred.)
* Excellent people skills and technical aptitude to facilitate involvement of others.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with proven effectiveness in small and large team environments.
* Ability to lead initiatives, manage projects, and work as part of a project team.
* A Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or other applicable discipline is required.
