Description: Our client is currently seeking a Recruiter (HR Representative) to work in Orange, CA!


Job Summary
This position will work closely with hiring managers to achieve staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates and advising managers throughout the recruitment process. Analyzes various human resources recruitment issues and makes recommendations to all levels of management and to employees. The incumbent will work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment, exercising discretion and judgment within the Human Resources department and with employees and will ensure the best talent is hired.
Position Responsibilities
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with hiring managers to provide a staffing strategy that fits the needs/demands of the business.
  • Full-cycle recruitment: recruits, screens, interviews, advertises, and negotiates offers to internal and external applicants.
  • Works closely with hiring managers to schedule and review Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and determine job requirements for hiring before recruitment begins.
  • Determines applicant requirements by studying the job description and job qualifications.
  • Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications, and ensures applicants are interviewed on a consistent set of qualifications.
  • Arranges and schedules management interviews by coordinating schedules, escorting applicant to interview, and going through next recruitment steps at the completion of the interview.
  • Networks through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, and employees.
  • Develops a talent pipeline of qualified candidates in advance of need.
  • Researches and recommends new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
  • Builds networks to find qualified passive candidates.
  • Researches and recommends sources (e.g., professional networking sites, etc.) for active and passive candidate recruitment.
  • Provides advice and support to management and staff on recruitment and participate in the decision-making processes at each level.
  • Assists the Human Resources (HR) team in identifying and implementing recruitment process improvements.
  • Monitors and identifies trends associated with key performance indicators (time-to-fill, etc.) and service level targets. Collaborate with internal and external resources to identify root causes and best practices to develop appropriate action plan.
  • Keeps updated with current legislation issues and laws.
  • Provides on-going interview training for hiring managers.
  • Acts as backup for recruiter responsible for all temporary staffing agencies.
Possesses the Ability To:
  • Support hiring managers and coworkers in their areas of responsibility.
  • Identify hiring trends and create ad-hoc reports to management.
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and sensitivity.
  • Identify issues and problems, develop solutions, and prepare recommendations.
  • Work under the pressure of strict deadlines on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
  • Utilize computer and appropriate software (e.g., Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and job specific applications/systems to produce correspondence, charts, spreadsheets, and/or other information applicable to the position assignment.
Experience & Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or other related field; or equivalent work experience is required.
  • 2+ years of Human Resources required preferably in recruitment or temporary staffing required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) system preferred.
Knowledge of:
  • Policies & procedures, general responsibilities, requirements,, and regulations pertaining to Human Resources.
  • Thorough knowledge of existing laws and regulations dealing with employment law.
