A large government integrator is currently looking for **Avionics Technicians** to support operations in **Point Mugu (Oxnard, Malibu), CA.**
**Compensation**
+ **$40.13 - $46.49 (Dependent on experience)**
+ **Relocation compensation: up to $5,000**
**Shift and Schedule**
+ Monday - Friday
+ Two running shifts, need to be flexible
**Job Description**
+ Perform scheduled/unscheduled aircraft/essential flight line service maintenance actions as directed to accomplish Flight Schedule. Routine lifting in excess of OSHA standards is required in accordance with standard USN procedures.
+ Applies basic and some advanced technical knowledge to solve routine aircraft electrical and avionics system problems by interpreting manufacturers' manuals or similar documents.
+ Will work under immediate supervision and achieves technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician. Aircraft Electronics Technicians II shall have T/M/S preferred Naval Organizational aircraft experience specific to the platform hired and assigned to support.
+ Shall have authority to direct Level I work center personnel to accomplish specific maintenance actions as required to accomplish maintenance tasking in accordance with Department of Labor Skill Code definitions (responsible for providing guidance and technical expertise to lower level technicians throughout all aircraft modifications and/or maintenance efforts.) Shall receive technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician, will occasionally be required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks.
**Qualifications**
+ High school graduate or equivalent. Specialized training courses are desirable.
+ 3-5+ years of experience performing O-Level on P-3 and/or C-130
+ No less than 3 years of specific type/model aircraft maintenance experience
+ Must have or be able to obtain a Security Clearance
**Capabilities/Skills:**
+ Knowledgeable in automatic flight control, stabilization systems, weapons integration systems and fuel quantity systems
+ Familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgment in planning work sequence, in selecting tools, testing instruments, and is reviewed for compliance with accepted practices
+ Shall possess or can qualify for a U.S. states driver license.
+ Shall possess or ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
