Beacon Resources, on behalf of our financial services client in Pasadena, seeks an Accounts Payable Manager to take on a fully on-site, interim position. Our client is looking to hire as soon as possible.

Salary/Compensation - Hourly compensation ranges for $50-$60/hr depending on qualifications.

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE MANAGER DUTIES

• Oversee a team of 5 employees
• Ensure that the high volume of invoices and expense reimbursement requests are processed by the team in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner
• Establish and maintain processes to ensure accuracy of monthly accruals and to perform expense management analysis
• Participate in the monthly close process related to expense accruals and expenses analysis
• Manage accounts payable personnel including their work product
• Maintain and manage accounts payable processes to ensure effective management of vendor records and tracking of invoices to ensure timely payment
• Implement and maintain corporate accounts payable policies and procedures to comply with SOX requirements and company guidelines
• Support internal audit, external audits and regulatory exams
• Ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the accounts payable systems
• Assist/manage with projects as necessary

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE MANAGER SKILLS (REQUIRED)

• 6+ years of AP experience
• 3+ years of managerial experience
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
• Strong attention to detail

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE MANAGER SKILLS (PREFERRED)

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Experience with Avid, Concur and PeopleSoft Accounts Payable
