Supervisor, Diagnostic Oligo Manufacturing

Petaluma, CA

Direct Hire

Schedule:

8-10 hours per day Mon-Fri

Essential Responsibilities:

• Supervise activities of the manufacturing team members, enforce company policy, and perform manufacturing procedures
• Manage priorities in collaboration with departmental managers and director and update staff during weekly departmental meetings
• Communicate expectations and priorities, assign tasks to team members, manage timecards for direct reports, and coordinate with production managers to ensure the most efficient use of time and resources
• Facilitate corrections to malfunctions within the manufacturing processes through initiation of Deviation and Nonconformance reports and/or support tickets, as needed
• Troubleshoot and provide technical expertise to team members
• Provide regular feedback to management on the status of the team, instrumentation, and production process
• Initiate support tickets to schedule instrument maintenance, as needed
• Perform PPDR reviews for all direct reports.
• Participate in decisions regarding the promotion, termination and hiring of individuals within his/her group
• Train to spill response management and act as a member of Spill Response Team. Oversee the safe use of hazardous chemicals and respond to chemical spills that occur outside of normal business hours.
• Ensure direct reports are adequately trained to procedures that they are required to perform, as well as to support them in their training

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Requires a bachelor's degree, a minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field, and/or demonstration of ability to meet the requirements of a GMP Manufacturing Supervisor
