UPS Sales Associate / Customer Service
$14-16/hr
We are hiring for both Spanish & English Speaking Customer Service Representatives!
Customer Service Representative - UPS Store (Walnut Creek, Concord, Pittsburg) The UPS Store offers consumers and small businesses a wide range of products and services, including, Packaging and Shipping services, Notary Services, LiveScan Fingerprinting, Copy Services, Private Mailbox Rentals, Office Supplies, and Document Services. The ideal candidate will be a team player, reliable, and able to multi-task.

A friendly demeanor and professional appearance is a must. We are looking for individuals with the following qualities and qualifications: - Friendly, Motivated, and Eager to Learn - Team Player with Good People Skills - Must have basic Computer Skills (Windows, Typing, etc.) - Ability to Handle Multiple Tasks - Minimum Education: High School Graduate/GED Certificate - Customer Service Experience -
(Nice to have, but not mandatory: Bilingual, Notary Public, Design Experience)
Successful Associates will:
- provide outstanding customer service by consulting with the customer, anticipating needs, suggesting products and alternatives, and finding solutions;
- provide customer expertise in printing and shipping products;
- provide packing expertise and shipping solutions for customers shipping domestically and internationally;
- operate copying, printing, binding, and laminating equipment for customer jobs;
- processes financial transactions using a Point of Sale terminal (POS),including handling cash and making change;
- clean and stock all retail store printing and shipping equipment and supplies to provide optimal performance and availability;
- stay current on retail Store merchandising materials and ensure proper display of all retail area products.
Qualified Candidates will also be able to:
- stand during entire shift,
- move and lift 50 pounds
- communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other associates
- function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure
- work with minimal supervision
- report regularly to work and maintain established work-shift hours
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends
