SSSD has an opening for a Program Integration Systems Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA.
This independent performer will support the program manager and business area director with tasks and logistics that enable program leadership to achieve operational excellence. They will be responsible for seamless integration and execution of the space program's portfolio and proposal activities, with a strong focus on profitability. The Strategic Program Planning team works directly with the program's Integration and Growth Director to provide support to growth initiatives (on-contract and future) and proposal activities, while also working with the program Portfolio Office to lead the Award Fee process, GFx List, and act as a liaison between the customer and broader portfolio team.
Primary duties will include facilitating the processes and tools to support end-to-end Program Plans and the utilization of tools to perform analyses, visualization, and optimization of program data. Candidate will facilitate cross-IPT and cross-program integration, Earned Value Management, Risk Management, and campaigns for successful completion of critical program milestones. Other duties will include support to program office planning and communication, facilitation of cross program/mission technical and programmatic initiatives, and tool and metric development.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Creating, analyzing, and submitting weekly and monthly BD reports to division leadership, along with analysis report on variances, trends and recommendations from actionable management information.
- Providing strategic analysis of new business opportunity pipeline through management and analysis of Salesforce data to produce actionable management information.
- Preparing presentations and pitch materials in connection with Division interest business development opportunities within Salesforce.
- Preparing business development opportunity reports and data calls at the business unit and division levels for management level review and individual business needs..
- Managing employee engagement tracking and success against engagement plan goals for division BD and Strategy Team.
- Provisioning SharePoint website permissions.
- Tracking, monitoring, disseminating and responding to all Marketing Coordination Forms. Escalating if issues are not resolved or instances lack clarity of responsibility.
- Working with IRAD and Operational teams to partner on needed strategic and BD related data on opportunities and roadmaps.
- Providing training to personnel/customers in the navigation and functionality of BD and Strategy related systems and processes, acting as the BUs primary point of contact for support.
- Supporting large data analytic projects including but not limited to pipeline reviews, pipeline sufficiency, qualification evaluations, AOP/LRSP planning, etc.
- Supporting development of strategic materials to underpin our technical, product and business roadmaps.
- Developing training materials and conducting training sessions for user community in the navigation and functionality of the Salesforce and SharePoint applications, and other BD and Strategy tools that arise.
- Leading the planning and logistics for executive customer visits.
- Coordinating with Communications and Event Planning members to drive strategic value from tradeshows, symposiums, and other areas.
- Synthesizing lessons learned information from capture losses and successes to assure strong execution and follow through on subsequent actions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a Business, Technical or related degree and with 6+ years of related professional experience in an operational role OR Master's degree from an accredited university in a Business, Technical or related degree with 4+ years of related operational professional experience.
- Dynamic self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to function independently.
- Demonstrated flexible approach to work and the ability to work collaboratively on a team.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Windows-based MS Office tools, to include MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
Candidate must have, and be able to maintain, at least ONE of the following active U.S. Government security clearances:
- Dept. of Defense Secret level with a background investigation date within 10 years OR
- Dept. of Energy L clearance with a background investigation date within 10 years
Preferred Qualifications:
- MS degree in a Business, Technical or related degree.
- Experience with LX (learning management system), SharePoint (document repository), Workday and HTML, preferred.
- Prior administrative experience with Salesforce and SharePoint within Northrop Grumman.
- Advanced Data Analytics training and experience.
- Prior experience as a resource and/or schedule analyst.

Salary Range: 92000 - 138000
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
